Why we created Grand Cru Experience
Over the years, many of our guests have attended Burgundy tastings focused on appellations, Premier Crus or even large selections of Grand Crus.Yet one question kept coming back:
"If you had to select only a handful of Burgundy wines, which ones would best illustrate the greatness of the region?"
This question led us to create Grand Cru Experience.
Rather than presenting a broad overview of Burgundy's 33 Grand Cru appellations, we chose a different approach: a carefully curated selection of six iconic Grands Crus that we believe best illustrate the diversity, prestige and personality of Burgundy's greatest vineyards.

Burgundy is home to 33 Grand Cru appellations, each representing the highest level of the region's vineyard hierarchy.Attempting to understand all of them in a single tasting would be impossible.
Instead, we wanted to focus on a small number of wines and encourage a deeper exploration of each one.
Every Grand Cru included in this experience has been selected for a specific reason.
Some illustrate the extraordinary precision of Burgundy's finest white wines. Others demonstrate the depth, complexity and ageing potential that have made certain red wines legendary.
Together, they form a coherent tasting journey through some of the most admired vineyards in Burgundy.
Our objective is not simply to present prestigious labels, but to help participants understand why these wines have become benchmarks for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay throughout the world.

This enhanced format offers a rare opportunity to compare an even wider range of Burgundy's most prestigious vineyards. Depending on the selected option, participants may taste between 6 and 12 Grand Cru wines during the experience.

Are the six Grand Crus always the same?
No. The selection may evolve according to vintages, availability and the quality of specific bottles.Why only six wines?
Because Grand Cru Experience is designed for depth rather than breadth. We prefer to explore a small number of iconic wines thoroughly rather than rush through a larger selection.Do I need previous wine knowledge?
No formal wine education is required. However, a basic understanding of Burgundy wines or wine tasting will help participants get the most from the experience.Can I taste more wines during the experience?
Absolutely. Upon request and when privatizing the experience, guests may choose to add between 2 and 6 additional Grand Cru wines to the tasting.This enhanced format offers a rare opportunity to compare an even wider range of Burgundy's most prestigious vineyards. Depending on the selected option, participants may taste between 6 and 12 Grand Cru wines during the experience.
Will I really notice differences between the Grand Crus?
